How to use evening primrose oil?
Pure use, directly on the skin
Evening primrose oil can, like the vast majority of vegetable oils, be used pure on the skin. Moderately oily, it will be necessary to massage to make it penetrate. It can be applied either as a body or facial massage, over large areas, or more punctually, on eczema, psoriasis or any other part of inflamed or irritated skin.
Pure use, internally
When used orally, evening primrose oil is very appreciated for helping to reduce disorders linked to premenopause and cholesterol. For any internal use, we advise you to consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Mixed with other vegetable oils or essential oils
Evening primrose oil is moderately fatty and not very penetrating. This means that its skin penetration requires prolonged massage. To make it penetrate more easily and quickly into the skin, it is recommended to mix it with other less fatty vegetable oils. For a massage, mix it in equivalent proportions with sesame oil. For mature skin, add argan or rosehip oil with recognized anti-aging properties. For sensitive or dry skin, prefer macadamia oil, with a dry touch and so gentle on sensitive skin!

EVENING EVENING OIL FOR THE CARE OF MATURE SKIN
You will probably say to me: “Hey, another anti-aging vegetable oil! But how do I choose the one that suits me? ". For evening primrose oil, it’s simple! The phytosterols it contains are ideal for mature women. They will be ideal to help with wrinkles, sagging, and dry and sensitive skin. Indeed, mature skin is often dry and thinner than young skin, so it reacts easily to external stimuli in the form of redness in particular. As evening primrose oil also has anti-inflammatory properties, it is highly recommended in the care of mature, dry and sensitive skin. Phytosterols are also good antioxidants, which help prevent premature aging of skin cells. Evening primrose oil is therefore THE winning combo for mature skin!

ANTI-INFLAMMATORY
Evening primrose oil is recommended to combat chronic inflammatory conditions such as eczema or psoriasis. For this, the application for external use is often coupled with the use of evening primrose oil orally in the form of capsules.
NOURISHING
Evening primrose oil contains numerous omega-6s including gamma-linolenic acid in large quantities as well as linoleic acid. These omega-6, in addition to being essential fatty acids, when used internally, for the proper functioning of our body (= so-called “essential” fatty acids), they give evening primrose oil ultra-nourishing properties. The fairly oily and moderately penetrating texture makes this oil very pleasant in massage for dry skin.
ANTI-AGING
Evening primrose oil contains numerous antioxidants, such as phytosterols and vitamin E, responsible for the anti-aging properties of this exceptional oil. Indeed, antioxidants reduce the oxidation of skin cells and therefore their premature aging. Nourishing, evening primrose oil also helps fight dryness often present in mature skin.
Precautions for use
This vegetable oil is particularly fragile and sensitive to oxidation. It must be stored away from light and heat and consumed within 3 months after opening.
This oil is sensitive to cooking: for internal use, always use it cold.
